To book contact the owners and we will email a booking form: info@holiday-home-portugal.com Authority to signThe person signing the booking form certifies that he/she is authorised to agree the Booking Conditions on behalf of all persons included on the booking form. The signatory must be a member of a party occupying the property and must be 18 years of age or over. Booking cannot be accepted from parties of young people under 18 years of age. One person can sign for a group of people staying together at the same time but each person's name must be stated on the form. Confirmation of bookingWe provide a booking form by email. That form must be filled and signed by the person(s) authorised as above. A form can be returned by post. A scanned SIGNED copy can be returned by email as an attachment. We then send a confirmation of booking by email. We reserve a right to decline a booking to a person or people who we believe may pose a risk to the property. We do not accept all-male or all-female parties. PaymentFor most bookings we ask for a 30% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. The remaining amount is due at least 1 month before arrival date. We consider booking as confirmed when a deposit money has been cleare. In case of booking within 1 month of arrival we consider a booking to be confirmed when 100% of the money has been cleared. If a booking is made within 1 month before the hiring is due to start, payment must be made in full at the time of booking. Non payment of the balance of the rent on or before the due date shall be construed as a cancellation of the contract by the Hirer. Prices are inclusive of electricity and water. Bed linen and towels including kitchen and bathroom towels are provided. The towels provided are for use in the property only. Hirer's ObligationsThe Hirer agrees: 1) To pay for any breakages, losses or damage to the property, howsoever caused, before departure; 2) To leave the property in a clean and tidy condition, ensuring particularly that the kitchen and all equipment and utensils and the bathrooms are left clean and tidy; 3) To permit the owner or owner's agents reasonable access to examine any matter of complaint raised during the hiring and to attend to any resulting repair or rectification or other urgent maintenance; 4) Not to share the property with anyone not nominated in the booking form or to sublet the property or assign the booking to anyone else; 5) To make known any special requirements at the time of the booking. If you have any medical problem or disability that may affect your holiday, please tell us before confirming your booking and follow up with written details. If we feel unable to properly accommodate the particular needs of the person(s) concerned we reserve the right to cancel the booking. 6) Not to pursue any claims and/or legal actions against the owners of the property due to any events beyond control of the owners. This includes, but not limited, to: accidents and/or personal injuries occurred while the Hirer and his/her party are in the property including falls from the stairs, incorrect use of water supplies, incorrect use of electrical and kitchen equipment; damages to the car hired or owned by the Hirer or his/her party; damages or disappearing of personal belongings or the Hirer or his/her party; loss of any personal belongings of the Hirer or his/her party due to leaving the door(s) or window(s) unlocked or open; any legal fees. PetsPets are not allowed in the property. Smoking Smoking is not allowed inside the house. CancellationIt is recommended that Hirers take out cancellation insurance with a reputable provider to cover unforeseen circumstances that may cause them to change their plans. Deposit paid at the time of booking (or the whole amount if a booking is made 1 month before arrival date) is not refundable in case of cancellation whatsoever. If the Hirer wishes to cancel a booking within 1 month before date of arrival and has already paid the whole amount then no money will be refunded. Non AvailabilityIf due to circumstances beyond the control of the owners should the Property become unavailable for hire all monies paid will be refunded in full and the Hirer shall in such circumstances have no further claim against the Owner. Arrival and Departure TimesWe are flexible on arrival and departure times, however, we would advise on certain check-in and check-out times in case of a day when a changeover occurs, i.e. when one Hirer(s) departs and a new one(s) is due to arrive. We will advise on the time accordingly when confirming your booking. Privacy PolicyYour privacy is important to us. We only collect basic information about you to the extend required to process your booking and payment: your name, address, telephone number, mobile telephone number and email address.
